You are safe in my Memory

"Do People make Memories, or its the memories that mark the importance of someone in your life."

Its kind of my continuous second post on 'Memories'. The reason for this post is the thought that struck my mind, while talking to a friend. We were talking about, the past memories of our life - childhood, school, college, friends and what not.

The topic while on shifted to us, and he said - "Sometimes I think, how will I remember you, I don't have memories of you." I asked him, "What for you are memories? Isn't talking to each other and sharing so much, part of memories? Isn't the times we spend talking, even if not together are part of memory?"
Him: "Memories, of spending time together, memories of doing something different, some adventure together."
Me: "Aren't all these times, memories for you.?"
Him: "Times that we spend together."
Me: "Do you rely on times and memories to remember me? Isn't it the people who make memories, memories do not make people. Its the people in your life, who make the memories special and worth remembering. And you will realize this, once these days have passed out of your hands."

You dont have to rely on memories to remember people who have been a part of your life, touched you and with there presence made your moments worth remembering.
