You'll never find your pleasure if you worry about your pain
I read this post 'What are you Complaining about' in Solitaire's Blog - PsychoBabble.
It actually left me thinking, how selfish one can get in life.
We just get on with our lives, seeing ourselves to be the most suffered. Ignoring the idea, that out there, there are umpteenth of men and women, compared to whom our problems seem trivial.
But, we do not think and we do not care, and just walk on. The questions you raised actually shook me...

You dont have shoes to match your outfit.
You dont have enough clothes.
Your roommates suck.
You don't have a date on Valentine's Day?
You are 5 pounds overweight?
Your hair is too frizzy on a humid day?
Gas prices are too high?
You hate your professor?
You got a B in one of your classes?

We have had such great normal childhood, great parents, more so friends and still we find the misses, which actually are nothing compared to the happy moments we enjoy.
Are these even things to worry about, but we do tend to do that and brood about such idiotic issues. Why? Why? Why?
Is that because we cant see the truth, or we can but opt to just ignore it, giving them a sweeping look and walk on with our lives believing - "We have far more issues to worry about."
Well, why cant we be happy about 99 good things that happened to us than brood about 1 that did not happen. You'll never find your pleasure if you worry about your pain
