Life's own Contrasts...!!!!!!

If anyone of you is interested in knowing what i did wit those seven days new year weekend except from partying and stuff...so, people i read 2 books..

The first one being a love story set mainly in Antarctica (between a girl who goes there for a research work and the main reason behind to heal her heartbreak wid a longtime boyfriend and how she eventually falls for a guy out there)
The next being a murder mystery (of a painter) - talks about everything - relations, society and all blah blah...but in all that what caught my attention was the point put up by the author Jaqueline Winspear - People with all the riches in the world have time and money for leisure and to spend millions on "paintings" - ( i admit - may be even i wouldnot have thought about it like that , but to think of it - it seriously is strange). People today go to extremes to claim for such things - what with bidding and all that.
Joining hands with an NGO is just a PR thing and so on.
Even those page3 people - i heard and both read somewhere ( wont name them though) - who claim working towards good causes and all that stuff....i have seen them throwing tantrums and giving a hard time to those people...(know it as on the sets story of a documentary being made).

How can people be soooo very @#$%>>@#$% If you dont feel for a cause then why run after it just to prove that yes you are actually doing something and good of and for the society..holy shit..!!! And to top it all that too becomes a part of the so called status symbols -'i am working for such and such Ngo for such &such people". HUH....!!!!!!
